Gary Oldman, Garrett Hedlund, Jamie Bell and Willem Dafoe, clad in Prada’s severe, smart and tailored looks, perfectly epitomize the powerful men the collection revolved around. Photographer David Sims captures the actors’ authoritative stance, framing them against a crimson background.
The campaign’s image gallery includes three-quarter length portraits of the four iconic actors, “each at a different point in their careers,” representing “a cross-generational broadening of the face” of the brand’s men’s wear line, the company stated.
“In the campaign each leading man plays a different archetype, layering codes of dress in a subtle parody of power and role-play. Exaggerated poses and conspiratorial glances hint at the game, a palm solemnly placed on the heart or into a pocket with precise formality,” concluded the company.

Riccardo Tisci, whose shows for Givenchy often feature bone-shuddering electronic music, has decided to portray the euphoric energy of a rave party in the French house’s fall campaign, featuring model Stella Tennant.
“It is about happiness and the freedom of expressing yourself with your body. It shows a dynamic, happy and fun world, which is what fashion needs,” the designer told WWD about the fractured images. “Stella represents modernity, elegance, masculinity and femininity at the same time, together with a dynamic, energetic beauty.”
Joan Smalls, Stef van der Laan, Daniela Braga, Simone Nobili, Jarrod Scott and Rodrigo Braga are the other “new stars of the Givenchy gang” who join the party with Tennant, Tisci added. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed the ads, with styling by Carine Roitfeld. The spots are slated to break in September issues of various international editions of Vogue, as well as Harper’s Bazaar and W.
